When you're working 14-hour days,
who has time to worry about ordering fuel?

EMM Monitor Program is designed for bulk energy customers to ensure adequate supply and allow the customer the best pricing options. Customer tanks are monitored continuously with daily calls. Additional calls are placed when a tank passes below predetermined levels.  When the monitor indicates you need a refill it automatically generates a fuel-delivery order. Global Positioning System (GPS) technology is then used to route the nearest delivery truck to fill your tank. Best of all, with our consumption billing option, you only pay for the fuel you use each month. No cash tied up for fuel inventory. It's much like the way you pay for electricity.

Peace of mind with fuel in your tanks before you need it. Plus, more pricing options!  Customers can view their own tank levels on-line at any time. No additional charge for EMM monitor system.

Energy Management & Marketing Benefits:

What Fellow Producers have to say...

"We are very happy with the service that our co-op has provided with this monitoring system. We have not had to call for fuel since that monitors were put on our tanks. We also enjoy not having to pay for the fuel right away. We farm about 1,600 acres of corn and soybeans last year, and also custom combine another 1,900 acres. During harvest it is vital that our fuel is there when we need it." Carl and Steve Schinke, Shiocton, WI

"I have contracted in the past, but with the Cenex Fuel Delivery System, the average monthly pricing helps take the volatility out of purchasing fuel. Before the automated delivery, I would get a fill and it seemed like every time the price would drop a few more cents the next day. I would be stuck with all that fuel in my tank at the higher price. Not it is nice not having to worry about that." Neil Schonscheck, Oshkosh, WI

"I am very pleased with the Cenex Fuel Delivery System. It allows us the flexibility to purchase fuel as we use it or buy the whole tank if we want. I never worry about having fuel when we need it. The system works flawlessly!" Jeff Cordell, Newton, KS

 Frequently Asked Questions:

Q: What is the delivery service area for customers on the EMM monitor program?
A: The delivery service area for the EMM monitor program for small tanks (smaller than transport load) is approximately 60 miles from Alexandria.  No limit for transport deliveries.
Q: How soon is the EMM monitor program available?
A: The EMM monitor program and level management system has been in place since January 2006. The coordination in delivery with the Cenex RFD system is scheduled to mid July 9.
Q: Can I purchase fuel from another dealer while on the EMM monitor program?
A: The true benefits of the program may not be realized when this occurs.  The customer however does remain in control of all buying decisions and can purchase from other suppliers.
Q: How will I get billed?
A: You will be billed from Prairie Lakes Coop along with your other monthly purchases. Normal payment due the 20th of the month.
Q: How accurate are the EMM level management tank monitors?
A: Very accurate, however official sales gallons are still documented using the state approved truck meters with printed tickets.  We can not bill for more fuel than was delivered into the tank through the meter on the truck.
Q: Will I have to re-size my tank? Is there a tank upgrade program available?
A: Ideally we would like to fill tanks 6 - 8 times a year for seasonal use customers.  Customers with year around demand can be filled more often.  Depending on the current size of tank the customer has, resizing may be recommended.  A four-year tank-financing program is available.
