We invest in the future of agriculture and rural America through a strong commitment to education and leadership development. Funding is program-orientated and your request should fall into one of the five program areas:

Timelines |
- Elementary and Secondary Education, three review periods, must be submitted by November 1, 2009 or February 1, 2010 or April 1, 2010
- FFA and Ag Classroom Instruction, review periods, must be submitted by October 1, 2009 or February 1, 2010 or April 1, 2010
- 4-H Leadership and Education, two review periods, must be submitted by April 1, 2010 or June 1, 2010
- High School Senior Scholarships, must be submitted by February 1, 2010.
- Returning Value to Rural America, must be submitted by, November 1, 2009 or February 1, 2010 or April 1, 2010 or June 1, 2010.

Applying for funds |
To request funds for a new program or project, please complete the relevant application before respective review periods and submit to the Community Funds Administrator.

What geography does the Prairie Lakes Coop reach with its giving? |
Prairie Lakes Coop supports local efforts related to our giving mission. Our giving is concentrated in and around the following communities: Cyrus, Elrosa, Hoffman, Glenwood, Long Prairie, Lowry, Park Rapids, Starbuck Additional funding is also available through the CHS Foundation. The CHS Foundation supports national efforts related to its mission. Funding is also available for programs within the CHS trade territory for regional, multi-state or state-wide projects.
